Using the Parley Agent

Last updated: February 18, 2026

The Parley Agent goes beyond structured workflows like visa briefs or RFEs, giving you an immigration-focused chat partner equipped with specialized tools and resources. Whether you're classifying a job title, researching policy, or drafting a response from past materials, the agent is built to support open-ended immigration work.

Introduction to Parley Agent

The Parley Agent works like a general-purpose AI chat, but with immigration-specific resources built in. You can use it to:

  • Ask immigration questions that draw on the policy manual and CFR, with direct citations and links to the relevant sections.

  • Upload job descriptions, RFEs, or other documents for analysis.

  • Draft emails, responses, and long-form work products — either from scratch or using materials from your library.

SOC Code and Wage Determination

The agent has direct access to the OFLC wage database, making it a fast tool for classification and prevailing wage work. For example, you can upload a job description and ask the agent to:

  • Identify a matching SOC code, along with alternatives for borderline roles.

  • Run a prevailing wage determination based on the OFLC dataset.

  • Explain its classification reasoning, with citations to the policy manual or CFR.

This makes it especially useful for ambiguous titles — like Head of People Ops and Total Rewards — where the right SOC code isn't immediately obvious.

Searching the RFE Database

Using the Library feature, you can upload firm-wide resources — like an RFE database — and search across them dynamically. For example, if you receive a new H-1B RFE, you can:

  • Upload the RFE notice to the agent.

  • Ask it to search your library for a similar example to use as inspiration.

  • Review the analog it identifies and its reasoning for the match.

The agent will review all files in the relevant folder and surface the most relevant examples to inform your work.

Drafting Responses with Examples

Once you've identified a useful analog, you can ask the agent to draft a full response by combining the new RFE notice with the library example. The agent will:

  • Reference the incoming RFE notice.

  • Pull the identified example from your library.

  • Incorporate both to produce a long-form draft response.

From there, you can continue refining the draft through follow-up prompts, or download it directly to Word to take it to the finish line.

Next step: Try uploading a job description and asking the Parley Agent for a SOC code and prevailing wage determination. Then experiment with your library — upload a document set and ask the agent to find relevant examples for a current matter.
